About Jennifer

Jennifer Walsh is a visionary entrepreneur and pioneering voice at the intersection of beauty, nature, and human flourishing. Over the last 25 years, she has redefined industries by anticipating cultural shifts before they appeared on the map.

As the founder of Beauty Bar, America’s first omni-channel beauty brand in the 90’s, Jennifer introduced revolutionary concepts such as open-sell retail, experiential beauty spaces, curbside service, and biophilic design—all years before they became mainstream. Her bold leadership permanently reshaped how beauty is sold, experienced, and understood. Beauty Bar sold in 2010 and amazon now owns. Jennifer also founded Pride & Glory, the first bath and body care line for the collegiate market.

Today, Jennifer’s work extends far beyond commerce. As the founder of Lost Art of Being Human and a faculty advisor to the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Neuroaesthetics and the Brain Health Initiative (under Harvard), she leads global conversations on how beauty, nature, and the built environment impact brain health and human well-being. She is creating a new blueprint for living. Her mission is clear: to reconnect humanity with the forces that sustain us—beauty, empathy, movement, and nature—and to design a future where we don’t just survive, but deeply thrive.
