Liz Pettiford

Elizabeth Pettiford is a registered nurse with a BA in Human Services and Gerontology and a Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional. (CCMDP). Liz has devoted her fifty-four-year career to the field of Geriatrics and Geropsychiatrics in long-term care and assisted living facilities.  Her passion is working with seniors with mental health issues, helping them and their families manage and cope with the complex physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges associated with aging.  
 

Liz founded Wadleigh House, a sixteen-bed Assisted Living Facility for seniors in Dover, New Hampshire, and operated it for twenty years. She is also a board member of Threadneedle Alley Foundation.
 

Liz is well versed in senior living, including the various levels of care, funding associated with housing, and navigating the rules and regulations for starting and maintaining an Assisted Care Facility. 
 

Liz is also the sister of Sarah Bodge, who after her passing, was the inspiration for Threadneedle Alley Foundation.
