About Lynnette

Lynnette Khalfani-Cox, The Money Coach®, is a personal finance expert, keynote speaker, and Founder of the Financial Influencer Network, which connects trusted financial authorities and their audiences with brand partners. Lynnette has also written 16 money management books, including the New York Times bestseller Zero Debt: The Ultimate Guide to Financial Freedom.

 

A former Wall Street Journal reporter and CNBC correspondent, Lynnette now serves as CEO of TheMoneyCoach.net,  a financial education and consulting company that helps people globally learn to better handle their money, save, invest, and build wealth.

 

Lynnette has appeared on top television programs, including Oprah, Dr. Phil, The Today Show, Good Morning America, and The Talk, as well as news shows on CNN, CNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, and FOX Business Network. She has been featured in 3 television commercials, 1 infomercial, over 1,000 TV news and talk segments, and 10,000+ print features.        

 

Before her stints at CNBC and Dow Jones, Lynnette worked as a reporter for the Associated Press, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and as a writer/assistant producer for the FOX TV affiliate in Philadelphia. 

 

Lynnette earned a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of California, Irvine, a Master of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Southern California, and a Certificate in Financial Technology (FinTech) from Cornell University.

 

When she’s not working on a financial literacy project, writing, or reprimanding her beagle, Astro, for barking too much, Lynnette is usually walking outdoors with her husband, Earl, or planning their next international business venture.
